Joanna Lumley: Avoiding wooziness and drunks this Christmas

Great to see the one and only Joanna Lumley making a case for moderation this Christmas in a recent Woman & Home magazine interview (summarised here by the Daily Mail):

"Truthfully, I've never really drunk much. I can't stand feeling woozy, and I can't bear drunken people."

She makes a very good point - overdoing it doesn't just impact the drinker; it impacts those around them whose own enjoyment might be compromised by others drinking too much.

It's not about sanctimony or disapproval. It's not about denying yourself something that you enjoy. It's about feeling good yourself - whether you choose to have one drink or several drinks - and ensuring that others enjoy themselves as much as you do.

That really is the spirit of enlightenment!
